Ease of Installation
Updating your stairway has never been so easy. Country Mouldings replacement stair treads are designed to fit over your existing staircase and replace carpeting. In many new homes the stairways are prefabricated making it near impossible to replace stair treads without deconstructing the staircase. Our retro-fit stair treads solve this problem and allow you to upgrade with ease. Any stairway can get an instant facelift with our treads.


Our Quality
Our replacement stair treads are custom crafted by skilled woodworkers. We take special care in ensuring that each tread you receive is premium quality. Our replacement treads have a 3/4" thick body have a 1" thick nose. The 1" thick nose extends back 1-1/4". They are made from FAS and Select grade lumber, the finest hardwood available. We do not use veneers.

The prefinished stair treads are finished with three coats of a special catalyzer added to a commercial grade, 45 sheen conversion varnish. The prestained treads have the stain applied first before the varnish. This special process gives the treads a durable, long lasting finish. When you are adding our replacement stair treads to your home, we know you will enjoy their strength and beauty for many years to come.

Fitting our products into your existing space is simple. Our replacement stair treads are available in custom sizes from 29" wide to 120" long.
