I've ordered 4 butcherblocks from you, and I've been very happy with the quality. The only minor issue I had was one that may not have been possible to avoid, and even if it had been avoidable, I neglected to let you know what I was planning to do. One of my slabs was 24"x48", and I planned to cut it into a semicircle to serve as a small, wall-mounted bistro table. After making the cut I realized that the cut had gone through a semi-open knot that was buried in the middle of the slab. I filled it with wood filler and it's not too noticeable. Again,I recognize that it might have been impossible to avoid without some sort of upcharge for using completely clear wood. Thanks for the great work. Oh, and I really appreciate that the cost is calculated purely by square inches and thickness--that seems very fair.
