Walnut Plank Style Countertop

I ordered a walnut face grain counter. It's beautiful. I paid a little extra to get heartwood. I ordered it unfinished which means I've been oiling it a lot. It takes a whole lot of oil. If I were to do it again, I'd probably order it finished. Everyone that comes over is struck by the richness of the wood. It took a little while to come and I had to have someone ready to help bring it from the truck to inside the house, but that was the only hassle. It was very easy and very good quality
