The quality of Country Mouldings Bordeaux Cherry plank countertops is second to none. We craft our wood countertops with the finest FAS and Select grade lumber. We don’t believe in mass production at our facility. Each custom countertop is made specifically for your home. Our skilled woodworkers craft the countertop and then finish it with a warm reddish brown stain. It is then sealed with a catalyzed conversion varnish to seal in the beauty and protect the wood. Note: These prestained plank countertops are not appropriate for preparing food directly on the surface.

First, we apply the stain to the top, sides, edges and underneath. Then three coats of our catalyzed conversion varnish are applied to the top surface and two everywhere else. The stain adds a beautiful color and the varnish adds a semi gloss look that is hard and durable.

Our prestained plank countertops are constructed by gluing wood boards side by side. The wood boards run the length of the countertop and are random widths between 3" and 6". The first and last wood boards of our Plank Countertops may be less than 3" wide. Our prestained plank style countertops offer a beautiful, traditional look.
