Knotty Pine is often recognized by its popular rustic appearance. Knotty Pine is a soft, light weight wood that usually contains knots throughout that vary in size, color, and shape. Our Knotty Pine prefinished wood stair risers range in color from a blondish-white sapwood to a light reddish brown heartwood.

For prefinished risers, three coats of our clear conversion varnish will be applied.

For prestained risers, a stain is applied, then three coats of varnish. Choose any stain from the colors shown here.

Stair risers are constructed by gluing boards side by side. The number of boards can range from one to four.
