In some ways similar to its American sibling, Brazilian Cherry is noticeably richer in both color and texture. Its sapwood often appears with a fine yellow or even light gray tone and the heartwood is stunning with a range of orange to light red. A very tight grain creates a surface that is coarse, complex, and deep.

Hand Scraped plank countertops feature full length boards that are glued side by side and are random widths between 3" and 6". The first and last board may be less than 3" wide.
