Our Beech End Grain Butcher Block Countertops have a light to dark reddish brown heartwood, while the sapwood is white and may appear to have reddish tones. Beech End Grain Butcher Block Countertops usually have straight grain, and are very durable, shock resistant, and strong.
End grain butcher block countertops are available in any size up to 4-1/4" thick, 42" wide and 96" long. End grain butcher block countertops feature rectangles about 1" wide and random lengths, usually between 1-1/2" and 6". The rectangles are glued together in checkerboard pattern. The strips are not perfectly aligned to the checkerboard pattern, creating an informal look that is hard to match! |
